El Maní Es Así

Sabana Grande

The most popular salsa club is unfortunately located in a seedy and unsafe area. However, if you must get your dance on, go for it at El Maní Es Así with that cautionary note in mind. It's always packed with a crowd covering a wide age range.

Harry's Pub

A popular part of the scene is the vibrant Harry's Pub, a casual watering hole with an interesting mix of young locals and seasoned wayfarers.

Restaurante La Abadia Cafe Lounge

La Abadía Restaurante is a festive, young restaurant serving simple, international food. It's also a great spot to have a drink or two if you want a quieter, earlier night on the town. Ask for a seat out back on the terrace.

Señor Frog's

Porlamar

Porlamar hot spots come and go with alarming frequency, but one place that seems to have settled in for the time being is Señor Frog's, the mustard-yellow Mexican restaurant (the one near the Hilton with a fake cow hanging from its roof) that transforms itself into a lively dance club at night.

Souka

La Castellana

San Ignacio, a mall in La Castellana, is hands-down the best place to go for nightlife: there are cafés, clubs, pubs, wine bars, and eateries. The best part, though, is that it's all enclosed in a safe mall, with plenty of young revelers to join you in the fun. Our favorite place here is Souka, a lounge/dance club/bar that is both friendly and über-cool. The trendiest and hippest peeps in Caracas make it a point to stop by here on a regular basis.
