Founded in 1871, La Confianza may be the oldest grocery store in Spain. It's in the porticoed Plaza Mayor in the old town and worth popping into to see the tiled floors and hand-painted ceiling, and to browse the shelves stacked high with local products, from dried fruit and nuts to specialty chocolates and salt cod.
