Most of Bonaire's nightlife consists of sitting on a quiet beach and sipping a Polar beer. Top island performers, including Moogie, migrate from one resort to another throughout the week. Carnaval, generally held in February, is the usual nonstop parade of steel bands, floats, and wild costumes, albeit on a much smaller scale than on some other islands. It culminates in the ceremonial burning in effigy of King Momo, representing the spirit of debauchery.
In a historic, traditional Dutch Antillean structure, this trendy club has a vibrant music scene, including a Thursday Latin Dance Night. The beverages of choice are the house mojito and cuba libre; an extensive international menu is ever changing but always sensational.
