Train Travel

The Indian Pacific, operated by Great Southern Rail, links Sydney and Perth via Kalgoorlie and Adelaide, with once-weekly services each way. The trip takes around four days.

From Perth, TransWA operates train services to Bunbury twice daily and to Northam and Kalgoorlie, with coaches linking to other destinations including Geraldton, Kalbarri, Albany, and Esperance.

Getting around Perth by train is quick and easy, with lines to Armadale/Thornlie, Midland, Butler, Fremantle, Mandurah, and Rockingham.
