Fodor's Expert Review Museo Participativo de Ciencias

Recoleta Family

Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.

The motto of this mini science museum inside the Centro Cultural La Recoleta is Prohibido No Tocar (Not Touching Is Forbidden), which says it all. Ten hands-on rooms aim to teach kids how things like electricity, music, light, and computers work through thoughtful interactive displays that include giant musical instruments and DIY whirlpools. Explanations are entirely in Spanish, so your little ones may not get the full educational experience, but there's so much to touch and try that they probably won't mind.
