City Center at Oyster Point

A gorgeous cluster of shops, restaurants, and apartments has a town-center feel and surrounds a pretty circular fountain with benches and sidewalks. Find clothing shops such as Ann Taylor Loft along with many restaurants and a 12-plex Paragon movie theater. There are many events in summer, including live music and activities for kids on Friday. Many, but not all, shops and restaurants are closed on Sunday.

d'Art Center

You can meet painters, sculptors, glassworkers, jewelers, photographers, and other artists at work in their studios at the non-profit d'Art Center, in Norfolk's NEON District. The art is for sale.

An official store of Colonial Williamsburg, Williamsburg at Home features the full line of Williamsburg furniture, bedding, rugs, fixtures, and wallpapers.

Williamsburg Craft House

The Craft House sells a full line of Williamsburg dinnerware, flatware, glassware, pewter, giftware, and jewelry.

Williamsburg Pottery Factory

The Williamsburg Pottery Factory is an attraction in itself, and the parking area is usually crammed with tour buses. The original location looked like old barn warehouses, but the new address now looks like a small town center. The enormous stores sell luggage, clothing, furniture, food and wine, china, crystal, and—its original commodity—pottery. Individual stores such as Pfaltzgraff are within the compound. There are always some great deals on name-brand home decor.

Yankee Candle

All shopping should be this fun! The national brand Yankee Candle created a huge village of different shops that include toys, a general store, Pandora, candles (of course), and more. Each "village" offers something unique; the Christmas shop has snow that comes every four minutes. It's very interactive, and kids love it too—they can make their own candles, paint shapes, and form designs they can take home by dunking their hands in wax moulds.
