Fodor's Expert Review The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner

1700 Tysons Blvd., Tysons Corner, Virginia, 22101, USA

High tea, an elegant spa, the new Metro—these are some of the features that bring guests to this hotel. The hotel is steps from the largest shopping mall in the D.C. area, and literally connected to the most upscale mall here. The rooms are small, in gold and tangerine tones, and inspired by Virginia's colonial past but with modern conveniences. The Executive and Junior suites are spacious, with seating areas, and views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A full service spa and fitness center, with indoor pool and steam rooms are hard to resist, as are the wine bar and trendy American Eats Tavern by chef José Andrés. Children love the Peter Rabbit Tea Sunday through Thursday, and the hotel is a few blocks from the American Girl store.
