People passing through Brigham City are charmed by its sycamore-lined Main Street and old-fashioned downtown, but may not realize they are in one of Utah's most progressive towns. Orbital ATK, which manufactures rocket motors about 30 minutes west of here, has brought in a lot of highly paid, well-educated professionals who have settled here and molded the city to their liking. The local art and history museum outclasses those in many of the state's larger cities, and the Box Elder Stake Tabernacle at 251 Main Street is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Free guided tours are offered each summer.
