Why We Like It

Thought the cost may be prohibitive to many, the care and design that went into building this sleek and inviting hotel is certainly worth the expense. This is a great spot for the traveling business person or visiting family who wants to enjoy high-end accommodations in a bustling neighborhood.

Fodor's Expert Review

A stunning, design lovers’ dream, this boutique hotel, tucked one block off South Congress Avenue, boasts the dual appeal of an exclusive, ultra-private escape and direct access to an urban neighborhood. The virtual concierge and keyless entry (guests use personalized pin codes) make check-in a thing of the past and the award-winning design, from Eames-laden interiors to an open-air courtyard centered around a massive live oak tree, is equally modern. Built-in perks, like self-serve gourmet breakfasts and automated coffee machines spouting specialty drinks at the touch of a button, feel downright futuristic. The 400-square-foot “Art Barn,” a standalone, luxury crash pad with private patio and a continuously evolving blackboard ‘art wall’ curbside facade, was recently added to the existing property.

You Should Know The hotel was expertly designed to be energy efficient.
