Black Hills Community Theater and the Black Hills Symphony Orchestra are both based in this historic, renovated school building that includes an 830-seat main theater and a 175-seat studio theater, where performances are scheduled throughout the year. The facility stands on the site of the demolished former high school that President Calvin Coolidge used as his office during his 1927 vacation in the Black Hills.
