Fodor's Expert Review Lambertville House

This handsome stone-and-brick building on Lambertville's main drag, a former stagecoach stop dating to 1812, maintains a traditional ambience but has modern comforts in its updated rooms. All guest rooms have jetted tubs and are filled with period reproductions, and most have gas fireplaces. Three have a two-sided fireplace that can be enjoyed from bedroom and tub. In several rooms, balconies overlook a courtyard where guests gather for drinks, and the porches in two allow you to watch the activity on the main street. The restaurant and bar has an inviting outdoor porch on Bridge Street that's open seasonally.
