Fodor's Expert Review Conca D'oro

This is an old-school pizzeria with checkered tablecloths and wood-paneled walls. Sure, whole-wheat pasta has made its way onto the menu, but this place is about classic, traditional food like your grandmother—if she was a very good cook—used to make. Large portions, down-home cooking, and reasonable prices make this a good choice for families. A casual pizza parlor in front serves slices to go, and the Italian restaurant in back can seat the whole gang for platters of antipasto, spaghetti and meatballs, and carafes of Chianti.
