The neatly manicured gardens and view of mountains is the icing on the cake for a retreat-like stay in the Berkshires.
Fodor's Expert Review
A Gilded Age mansion is the gem of this the resort which includes an 18-hole golf course, massive spa, three restaurants and a pub. All rooms are slightly unique but are neatly furnished with modern classics as well as period antiques. Be sure to have a drink on the terrace with expansive views of October mountain.
You Should Know The resort is under construction as it expands to accommodate more guests. Currently, rooms in the mansion and the views from the garden terrace are unaffected.
