A bit more upscale than most properties along Route 28, the Bayside overlooks pristine salt marshes and Lewis Bay, and although it's not right on the water, there's a small beach and a large outdoor pool with a tiki bar (there's also an indoor pool). Guest rooms have contemporary light-wood furnishings, and several have cathedral ceilings, whirlpool tubs, and views toward the bay; the resort offers package deals covering everything from golf to day trips to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.
