Fodor's Expert Review The Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas

6 Kai Ala Dr., Kaanapali, Hawaii, 96761, USA

Editor's Note: This location is reported to be under new ownership and therefore this review may contain inaccuracies.

Even though the studio and one-bedroom "villas" at this luxury resort just north of Pu'u Keka'a (known as Black Rock) are oceanfront, you may never see the beach because of the acres of water features—a meandering lagoon, cascading waterfalls, a huge heated pool with waterslide, a revitalizing pool, and a kids' pool complete with a pirate ship. The villas, which can be combined to create two-bedroom units, provide the comforts of home (kitchen, washer/dryer, flat-screen TVs) and then some (Westin Heavenly beds and baths with separate showers and whirlpool tubs). There's also Spa Helani, two 24-hour fitness centers, tennis courts, and three restaurants.
