Multisport

Fort Wilderness Resort. One of the original Disney resorts (the Polynesian and Contemporary were the others), Fort Wilderness offers a number of sporting and outdoors activities. For 90 minutes, you can get in some target shooting with an archery guide who oversees novice and expert marksmen (ages 6 and up). Nonresort guests are welcome to join campers, and the fee includes use of the compound bow and arrows, plus instruction. You can book up to 180 days in advance. But this isn't the only outdoor activity you can enjoy here.

A two-hour Wilderness Back Trail Adventure Segway tour is done on an off-road version of the vehicle, and begins with a training session to get you acquainted with its operation. Call ahead for reservations. You must be at least 16 and carry a photo ID. If you'd prefer to rent a bicycle, stop by the Bicycle Barn, where they rent for the hour or day. You can also rent fishing rods and tackle for fishing in the canals around Fort Wilderness Resort, but you must be 18 or older to rent. If you'd like to go fishing with a guide, that's possible, too.
