Fodor's Expert Review ESPN Club

$$ Epcot Resort Area American

Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.

Not only can you watch every possible televised sporting event on a big-screen TV (the restaurant has about 100 monitors), but you can also periodically see ESPN programs being taped in the club itself. Food ranges from half-pound burgers, made with Angus chuck, to Guinness beer–battered fish-and-chips and buttermilk fried chicken. For an appetizer, try the club nachos, crispy corn tortilla chips piled high with spicy chili, shredded cheddar cheese, cheddar cheese sauce, sour cream, pico de gallo, and sliced jalapeños. This place is open quite late by Disney standards—until 1 am daily. As you might expect, the place can be loud during any broadcast sports event, especially football games.  A pre- or postmeal stroll around the lagoon to EPCOT's International Gateway leads to the Skyliner gondola system with stunning overhead views.
