After stints in Spain and Prague, where he ran a popular bar, local boy and chef Brendan Jones fashioned his restaurant (lokal is Czech slang for "local") to encourage social interaction. Order local beer on tap at the 29-foot, recycled-redwood bar and dine on inventive tapas, burgers, and sandwiches that riff off Jones's Spanish and Czech influences.
