Why We Like It

Feel like a visiting friend at this lovely historic B&B, situated on the edge of Hayes Valley in lower Haight.

Fodor's Expert Review

Stay in a National Historic Landmark Victorian, constructed in 1883, with many of the original mantlepieces, fireplaces, mirrors, and ornate molding gracing the 14-foot ceilings. Owners John and Joan have used their artistry to craft a one-of-a-kind bed-and-breakfast in the heart of the city, just steps to lower Haight and Hayes Valley commercial areas, and treat visitors like houseguests, offering after-dinner drinks and candies, and one of the best breakfasts in town.

You Should Know Park in nearby garages or drive around the neighborhood like the locals to find street parking.
