The long driveway at homespun Preston, flanked by vineyards and punctuated by the occasional olive tree, winds down to farmhouses encircling a large shady yard. Year-round, a small shop near the tasting room sells organic produce grown in the winery's gardens; house-made bread and olive oil are also available. Owners Lou and Susan Preston are committed to organic growing techniques. They use only estate-grown grapes in their wines, which include Sauvignon Blanc, Barbera, Petite Sirah, Grenache, Viognier, and Zinfandel. All visits are by appointment, with walk-ins often possible on weekdays (call ahead, though).
