Ferry Travel

Twelve- and 20-passenger Aquabus Ferries and False Creek Ferries bypass busy bridges and are a key reason why you don't need a car in Vancouver. Both of these are private commercial enterprises—not part of the TransLink system—that provide passenger services between key locales on either side of False Creek. Single-ride tickets range from C$3.25 to C$5.50 depending on the route; day passes are C$15. Aquabus Ferries connections include The Village (Science World and the Olympic Village), Plaza of Nations, Yaletown, Spyglass Place, Stamp's Landing, David Lam Park, Granville Island, and the Hornby Street dock. False Creek Ferries provides service between all of these stops (with the exception of the Hornby Street dock), and instead stops at the Aquatic Centre on Beach Avenue and the Maritime Museum in Kitsilano. The large SeaBus ferries (via TransLink, see above) travel between Waterfront Station and Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver.
