Room

Fairmont Pacific Rim has both traditional hotel rooms and larger, condiminium-style suites. High-tech details, like the in-room touch-screen control panel, are extremely convenient, while the views of the harbour and mountains will truly take your breath away.

Bathroom

Bathrooms are large and luxurious, with soaker tubs, standalone showers, and flat-screen TVs, and come stocked with 100%-cotton oversized Mascioni bath towels and terry Mascioni bathrobes.

Lobby

The lobby at the Fairmont Pacific Rim is the social hub of the hotel and features nightly live music (the centerpiece of the lobby is a Fazioli piano, which has a 150’ sculpture made by local origami master, Joseph Wu, hanging from the ceiling above).

Pool

A rooftop pool with a deck and stunning views of the city is open daily.

Tip If you want some privacy at the pool, you can rent a cabana for a $299 daily rate.

Spa

The Willow Stream Spa features 9 treatment rooms and a 2,500 square foot outdoor patio, where you can relax between treatments. Choose from a variety of signature massage and beauty treatments—including four treatments geared towards couples.

You Should Know It should go without saying, but spa treatments aren't included in your room rate—and they're definitely on the pricey side.

Gym

A 2,100 square foot, 24-hour fitness facility is located on the 5th floor of the hotel. The gym has ellipticals, treadmills, and bikes.

Tip Mix up your workout routine with a choice of Gaiam Yoga, P90X, Insanity, Les Mills and Zumba classes.

Dining

There are multiple restaurants on-site at the Fairmont Pacific Rim, including Botanist, which offers an inventive collection of dishes inspired by the principles of botany, or giovane café + eatery + market, a casual Italian cafe with a fantastic weekend brunch.

Drinking

The Lobby Lounge and RawBar is known for mixing up fantastic classic cocktails, including their signature spin on the Old Fashioned, which mixes rum and bourbon. The only bottle that exists in Canada of Balvenie, a 50-year-old single malt Scotch whiskey, is offered for one ounce pour at $2,600. Other options include their signature spin on the Old Fashioned, which has both rum and bourbon.

Tip Feeling like a (serious) splurge? The Lobby Lounge and RawBar is home to Canada's only bottle of Balvenie, a 50-year-old single malt Scotch whiskey that's widely regarded as one of the best in the world. But to say it's pricey is an understatement—a single ounce pour will run you $2600.
