Fodor's Expert Review The Guest House at Burrowing Owl

You could be forgiven for thinking you're in Tuscany while sitting on your balcony sipping a glass of Chardonnay, overlooking the vineyards, at this romantic inn. The tiled floors, creamy-beige linens, and stucco exterior say "Mediterranean," but the flat-screen TVs, fireplaces, and commodious bath and dressing areas all say "luxe." In mild weather, breakfast is served beside the saltwater pool, although there's an indoor dining room, too. The excellent Sonora Room Restaurant is adjacent to the Guest House. There's no spa, but you can book in-room services.
