Fodor's Expert Review SOMMA Wine Spa

SOMMA is the only spa of its kind in Mexico, with only seven others throughout the world. The concept spa uses grapes from the up-and-coming Valle de Guadalupe wine region just outside Ensenada. It's an unusual experience blended with classical treatments, focusing on the calming, cosmetic, and antioxidant properties of grapes and wine, or vinotherapy. It towers high above the Sea of Cortez with 15 treatment rooms, both indoor and open-air, and offers a geothermal hot spring and more than 33 facial and body treatments from a Champagne Mud Wrap to a Le Vine Massage.
