Air Travel
Air travel isn't much more expensive than bus travel, and flying to Central Anatolia saves a lot of time. Ankara's Esenboğa Airport is served by frequent flights from numerous Turkish cities, as well as direct flights from several European cities; Konya is served by frequent flights from Istanbul and near-daily flights from İzmir. The Cappadocia region has two airports—Kayseri and Nevşehir—with the majority of flights coming from Istanbul, though some arrive from İzmir and, in summer, from Antalya.
