Yaiza

Yaiza is a quiet whitewashed village with good restaurants. Largely destroyed by a river of lava in the 1700s, it's best known as the gateway to the volcanic national park. The hamlet of El Golfo, situated within the Yaiza municipality, is a whitewashed coastal town with seafood restaurants and views of the Charco Verde, or "Green Lake."
