This 17-story glass tower is a bit of an eyesore on an island where low-rises are the norm, but once inside, it's hard to hate the bird's-eye views from the guest rooms and inviting, comfy communal areas. A recent renovation gave the hotel a more minimalist aesthetic: white walls and curtains complemented by colorful textiles. The breakfast area has stunning ocean views, as does the glass-enclosed pool.
