Occupying the top floor of the Robert Burns Centre, itself an old mill, this restaurant serves a substantial, varied lunch and dinner menu. The melts are the highlight of the imaginative, tasty lunch menu, and the dinner menu is equally ambitious, ranging from roe deer loin with tomato pesto to king prawns flambéed in vodka. A separate, and interesting, vegan menu is available, and you can come early for supper (5 to 7) if you want a lower-priced menu. The best tables are by the window overlooking the River Nith.
