Fodor's Expert Review Playwright
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
This stylish restaurant is one of the city's more expensive, but it's worth the price to see the glass floor that looks into the wine cellar. The menu, including a prix-fixe lunch and pretheater menu, is well put together, offering interesting combinations of seasonal flavors. Start with squid risotto with broad beans, then move on to a perfectly presented roast duck breast with black cherries. There's a beautiful bar, too, for pre- or post-dinner tippling. The staff is laid-back but totally efficient.
