On a hilltop to the west of the city center, this modern pousada offers comfortable guest rooms, all with balconies and terrific views of the Citadel. Local touches include soft furnishings featuring burel, a traditional wool product. The restaurant, G Pousada, has won international awards for its versions of local dishes; its tasting menu is excellent value at €75 (plus €25 for wine).
