Located in the elegantly restored wine vaults of the 1821 CHQ building, Ely is famed for their large selection of new and old world wines. But it is also an impressive steak and seafood eatery with organic meat and vegetables from the owner's family farm in County Clare. Dishes such as nine-hour braised beef cheek with parsnip puree are simple but incredibly fresh and succulent. The plate of mature Irish and Continental cheeses is the perfect finish—with a glass of wine, of course.
