Clean and well priced, for a design-conscious boutique hotel, the Noailles offers a pleasant experience all the way around, and some lively artwork to cheer you up.

With a nod to the work of postmodern designers like Putman and Starck, this art-strewn boutique hotel is both contemporary and cozy, and the spacious outdoor terrace is a nice feature in warmer weather. Although it's easily accessible to major monuments and museums, the hotel attracts mostly business travelers.
You Should Know The colorful, and plentiful, artworks in this hotel are quite appealing to some but may not be to everyone's taste.

Room
Rooms are sleek, streamlined, with vivid colors against earth tones, backlit custom cabinets, glassed-in bathrooms, and fabric or faux-leather wall coverings to distract you from the fact that they are tiny. If you need some legroom, upgrade to a Junior suite. A nice feature: rooms with hardwood floors for people sensitive to carpeting.
Tip At 150 square feet for standard doubles, these rooms are small even by Paris standards. However, many of the front-facing rooms offer small balconies or even terraces, extending your square footage. If an upgrade isn't in your budget, be sure to ask for one.
Bathroom
Tiled baths are clean, super stylish and ample enough with plenty of shelf space. Larger rooms have larger baths with showers.
Tip Smaller rooms might have a walk-in shower or a small tub with a wrap-around curtain that may prove awkward. We recommend you request a shower.
Lobby
The small lobby, flanked by two enormous snails, offers some comfortable seating, plus a breakfast room, bar area and spacious outdoor terrace (with bright red bears).
Gym
A small fitness room offers the basic workout machines, and the sauna is appreciated after a day out on the town.
Dining
A plentiful breakfast of hot and cold choices—cereal, fruit, smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, charcuterie, cheese, and pastries—is served in the breakfast room or terrace in warm weather.
Drinking
A pre-dinner apéro or nightcap can be had at the cozy bar-lounge area.

Getting Around
Around the corner from bustling Avenue de l’Opéra, the hotel is in the heart of Paris, close to the beautiful Palais Royal gardens and within minutes of some of Paris's finest sites, major shopping—Galeries Lafayette and Printemps are five minutes away, and Rue Saint-Honoré, a mega-shopping street, is 10 minutes by foot in the other direction—plus plenty of restaurants and nightlife. Though the Avenue de l'Opéra itself isn't the quietest or most scenic, the views of the Paris Opéra at the top of the avenue are superb. Opéra and Bourse metro stations are a two-minute walk from the hotel. A ten-minute walk away, metro station Palais-Royal-Musée du Louvre is serviced by line no. 1, Paris’s fastest and most central line.
Restaurants
A five-minute walk away, rue Sainte-Anne, and neighboring streets, host a score of Japanese restaurants, from fast-food noodle joints to fresh, authentic cuisine paired with artisanal sake. Nearby foodie havens from top Paris chefs include Saturne (Sven Chartier), La Bourse et la Vie (Daniel Rose), Aux Lyonnais (Alain Ducasse), Passage 53 (Shinishi Sato, 2 Michelin stars), Terroir Parisien (Yannick Alleno) and Paris's chicest new pizza joint, Daroco, and it's stylish cocktail bar, Danico, housed in Jean-Paul Gautier's old atelier, a few minutes away, at 6 rue Vivienne.
Bars
Some excellent wine bars within easy walking distance, include Les Juveniles—an expat hotspot—featuring small producer wines and top-value gourmet menus at lunch and dinner. Verjus Bar à Vins, below its gastronomic restaurant parallel to the Palais Royal gardens on rue de Montpensier, serves a small but choice selection of wine and gourmet tapas. For a classy cocktail a little farther afield (about a 10-minute walk), pop into Le Meurice's atmospheric Bar 228 piano bar, on the Rue de Rivoli, across from the Tuileries, or the legendary Hemingway Bar at the Ritz at Place Vendôme—both helmed by a famous Parisian barman. They'll set you back a bit, but it doesn't get more Parisian than this.
