The regional tourist offices are goldmines of information. Reims, Amiens, and many smaller locales also operate their own helpful tourist offices; these are listed in this chapter under the destination’s names. If traveling extensively by public transportation, you can load up on brochures, maps, and such upon arrival at the ticket counter or help desk of larger train and bus stations.
