Fodor's Expert Review Loch Fynel

Tucked away in one of Guildford's older buildings, this cleanly designed seafood restaurant has whitewashed walls and a casual atmosphere. Loch Fyne is a reliably good, innovative chain dedicated to using fresh, sustainable British seafood. Menus partly depend on what's fresh, but oysters lead the way (in season) and are served several ways, although purists insist they are best served on the half shell. Main courses could include lemon sole with buttered new potatoes, or char-grilled tuna steak.
