Golf Links at Royal Isabela. Mixing luxurious service, ecological sensitivity, and an incomparable setting, this 18-hole course, which opened in 2011, is considered one of the Caribbean's best. Designed and developed by Stanley and Charlie Pasarell with assistance from course architect David Pfaff, it can play to as much as 7,667 yards and a par of 72 or 73, depending upon how you play the fork-in-the-road 6th. The course has many signature moments—from the 6th to the island green at No. 9 to the carry over the sea at No. 12. Carts are available, although walking is encouraged and caddies are mandatory.
