Getting Here and Around

Halls Gap (the base town for the Grampians National Park) is reached via Ballarat and Ararat on the Western Highway (Highway 8). The town is 260 km (162 miles) northwest of Melbourne, 97 km (60 miles) northeast of Hamilton, and 140 km (87 miles) west of Ballarat. V/Line operates trains to Ballarat from Melbourne.
