The relatively peaceful lobby here has a John Portman–designed atrium that narrows as it ascends 21 floors to a tinted skylight. The guest rooms, done in pastels, are modern and smart; for the best view, request a room overlooking the harbor. Rooms on the concierge floor—the Marina Club—cost about 25% more and have such extras as terry-cloth robes, butler service, and free breakfast and cocktails. The on-site Peach Blossoms restaurant specializes in Cantonese dishes.
